New year event...

 

The year is a festival that we Sinhalese look forward to.  We are looking for a new year festival that I like the most.

  Last year there was a New Year festival in our city.  It was April 16. We went there at 9 am.  I felt very happy.  We were involved in many sports.  I was first associated with breaking the pot.  I got the 3rd place there.  After that, my friend and I joined the thread-to-the-needle game.  But we didn't win.  At the end, there was a musical chairs competition.  Many people were involved in it.  I quit in the middle.  It was slowly getting late.  At the end there was a musical performance.  After that, we returned home happily.
